Emily Stroup, MS, NCC, LPC

Emily started her journey at Riverwoods Behavioral Health in 2012 as a graduate level clinical intern. After completing her internship, Emily worked as a therapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings and as an admissions counselor at Riverwoods. In September of 2016, Emily was promoted to Assistant Director of Clinical Services until June of 2017 when she was promoted to Director of Outpatient Services. After taking on an additional role as Director of Admissions from 2017-2018, Emily was promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
Emily received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University in 2013. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and is credentialed as a Nationally Certified Counselor. In her free time, Emily enjoys playing golf and spending time with her husband and two sons.
